Helping You Exhale & Find Relief from Anxiety
Hi! My name is Nicole Goudreau-Green (she/her), and I’m an Anxiety Therapist located in Westchester County, NY. I specialize in helping women experience relief from stress and overwhelm in their daily lives.
Anxiety can be experienced as perfectionism, irritability and annoyance, difficulty concentrating, forgetting things, and feeling like a “control freak.” It can also be experienced physically. Causing dizziness, stomach or digestive issues, increased heart rate, sweating, shortness of breath and shakiness.
Anxiety can be really scary at times, and you don’t have to do this alone! Therapy is incredibly helpful in treating anxiety. If you’re ready to start feeling better, schedule a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation with me today.

Anxiety can really disrupt things, including your relationships, school and career; And it can be really disorienting.
My Approach as a Westchester Based Therapist Specializing in Anxiety
It may come as no surprise that I myself, as an anxiety therapist, have experienced a fair share of my own. Through personal and professional experience, I know that therapy works. And I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, especially when you're feeling anxious.
My goal is to make this process, from initial call to completion of therapy, as relieving as possible. I take a warm, curious approach, while also challenging you with use of humor and compassion.
My approach draws from a variety of therapy models. These include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Relational Therapy and a trauma informed approach.
DBT and CBT are evidenced based forms of therapy that offer you concrete techniques and skills. With these are a framework, we explore how your thoughts, behaviors and emotions are connected. You will also learn skills to assist in reducing the intensity and frequency of anxious symptoms.
Relational therapy focuses on interactions within relationships. We use our working relationship in healing. Exploring how past and present relationships shape your beliefs, values and choices, and creating new patterns for healing. We’ll explore how relationships in your life impact your experience with anxiety, positively and negatively.
Anxiety therapy is focused on YOU, as a whole person. We’ll focus together on helping you reach your goals and enhancing the strengths anxiety may have dampened. Helping you enjoy life again!

Anxiety in Motherhood
As a mom, dealing with anxiety can be incredibly overwhelming and feel like a hopeless cause. When you’re trying to hold things together for your family it might feel like you don’t have time to care for yourself. Like you don’t have time or money to care for your own needs.
Caring for yourself, in the form of engaging in therapy, can be incredibly powerful. Getting therapy for anxiety can free up your time and energy in ways you never thought possible. It will help, not interfere with your family life.
If you’re ready for a change and live in New York State, please reach out to me. I’m an Anxiety Therapist and can help!

Begin to catch yourself before you get to “worst case scenario.”
Develop techniques to improve sleep and concentration.
Understand and explore thoughts and beliefs that contribute to increased anxiety.
Learn strategies to slow your racing thoughts.
Identify and set personal limits and boundaries that will promote healthy habits to reduce anxiety.
Reduce the intense urge to “fight, flee or freeze.”
Westchester Anxiety Therapy FAQs
+ How often do we meet?
Therapy is most effective when we meet weekly, especially when in therapy for anxiety. It allows us to continue to explore topics and themes from one week to the next. When meeting less frequently, ground work is lost and therapy will ultimately last for a longer period of time. I meet with clients on a weekly basis for 50 minutes.
+ How long will it take to get rid of my anxiety?
As an Anxiety Therapist, my goal is to help you experience some immediate relief within the first month of therapy. With this said, how fast and how much your level of anxiety decreases depends on a few factors. Two of these factors include how long you’ve been experiencing symptoms of anxiety and contributing factors to your anxiety. Another factor is how consistent you are in attending therapy and incorporating what we talk about into your daily life.
+ Do you accept insurance?
I am considered an “Out-of Network” (OON) Provider, meaning that I do not work directly with insurance companies. At the end of each month you are given a receipt for services also known as a “Super Bill.” You can submit this to your insurance company and request reimbursement. Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance company:
- Do I have out of network benefits with my plan?
- Do I have a deductible to meet before insurance will start reimbursing me?
- What is the deductible?
- What portion of the fee will insurance reimburse?
- Is there a limit to the number of sessions or dollar amount that insurance will reimburse for out of network benefits?
+ What is your fee?
$350 for 60-minute Initial Assessment; $260 for weekly 45-minute follow up sessions.
